Karol graduated in 1975 from the University of Toronto in the field of mechanical engineering. He joined the firm in 1976 and became a principal in 1991. As well as being a professional engineer, Karol is a designated consulting engineer in the Province of Ontario. Karol has engineered a wide variety of projects but has focused on commercial office and police facilities. Among his many accomplishments, Karol engineered the OPP Centre in Orillia, Metro Hall/Centre, Chatham Hospital, and Division 51 Police Centre.
