Brad graduated in 1999 from Queen’s University in the field of mechanical engineering and joined Smith + Andersen in the same year. In 2006 Brad became a Vice-President of mechanical and Associate Principal in 2009. Brad has engineered a wide variety of projects but, in recent years, has focused his attention on specialized sports facilities and community centres. Some examples of his engineering work include the Angus Glen Community Centre and Library, Cassie Campbell Community Centre, Holly Community Centre, Magna Recreation Centre, Orillia Multi-Use Recreation facility, and Newcastle Community Centre.
